white wero park (rm 12's trip)

So last Friday room 12 went on a trip to wero whitewater park. Everyone went in and sat down looking at the water and the other school paddling on their rafts.

Afterwards we had to change into our swimsuits and put on our gear. When we finish preparing we all were split into groups, I was with Alamoni, Nurul, Frank, Ana and winnie

Our first activity was to practice walking through a fast river and then we could go on our rafts and I did nothing because we had seven and there were six paddles.I chose to do nothing and I had the best day I ever had for a trip.

Salmon On The Run In Twizel (Kiwi Can)

There are over 2,000 salmon that have escaped into a canal system in Twizel, Canterbury.
The 2,000 salmon escaped from a fish farm.

Fishing rules state that fishermen are not allowed to take more than two salmon so maybe that's good enough. I expected it to say four or five.

In the story it talks about a fish farm. I don't know if I have been to a fish farm and if I have I don't remember

Making soup (tech)

So Mario and I partner up (again)
So we made soup and here is what you will need
1. You will need a chopping board.
2. You will need beef
3.  You will also need cauliflower,broccoli onion,cabbage and potatoes
4. knife and a pan.


First step:
slice the beef and boil it with the cabbage,potatoes and the other veges
second:
You can use any spices like salt,pepper or chili pepper.
Third:
I had to clean the tables and the sink while Mario cooks the soup.

Than after all that we ate our soup than clean again

Earthquake hit white island (I really don't know how to say in Maori)

White Island is New Zealand's most active volcano. It is located 48km off the Bay of Plenty coast.

There has been 196 quakes in the area since Thursday. GNS science have said that the earthquakes are getting stronger, and there are fears it may cause a landslide.

Twenty two in the past 24 Hours have been magnitude 3 or greater. The largest measurement 3.9.

Experts are closely monitoring the island.
